Maressa + Dan were married at the fabulous Eden Roc hotel in Miami Beach, Florida last weekend. Leading up to the big day we were all worried about weather, but the hopes and prayers must have worked.. we had quintessentially perfect Miami Beach sunshine! Surrounded by family and friends from all over the country, Maressa + Dan’s wedding was the perfect combination of traditional Jewish customs and 1950′s glamorous flair. We loved seeing Maressa’s face light up during each part of the day, and were so happy to make so many new friends. Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming, and we can’t wait to show you the rest of the images! Lisa + Mike | Pelican Grand Beach Resort Wedding

We’re always so proud of Florida when the weather is perfect for couples who came from far away to get married here. Sunny weather, sparkling aqua water, a refreshing breeze… it’s like this so often I think we sometimes forget just how lovely it can be! The Pelican Grand Beach Resort is one of the few resorts along the Fort Lauderdale coast that’s actually right on the beach, and they take full advantage of their location, with big windows, balconies, and rooftop terraces where you feel like you’re on top of the world and could practically touch the ocean. Lisa + Mike’s destination wedding was certainly a refreshing break from the sputtering spring in New England, and we’re so happy to have met so many wicked awesome people from the Boston area! We spent the day with this sweet couple (a fellow met-online-marriage), and were awed by their family and friends’ closeness, laughter, and heartiness on the dance floor. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so at home, and thank you to Lisa + Mike for sharing your day with us. Lisa + David | Wedding at The Breakers, Palm Beach Island

David + Lisa were married last weekend in a beautiful ceremony on the upstairs terrace at the Breakers’ Beach Club. Despite looming clouds and iffy weather, sunshine managed to break through for most of the afternoon and evening, giving a lovely golden glow to the day. David + Lisa were joined by their six children (can anyone say “Brady Bunch”??) as their wedding party, bringing an intimate and loving family feel to traditional wedding day events. We loved the joy on everyone’s faces at seeing this happy couple tie the knot… and we’ll admit to getting a little teary-eyed ourselves! We’re so excited to show you a few of our favorites from David + Lisa’s day, and happy to say we were there when these eight people could officially say, “We’re family!”

Julissa + Rod | PGA National Engagement Session

We met Julissa + Rod on the golf courses of PGA National earlier this week. We shoot near golf courses often for weddings, but this was the first time in a while we’d had the pleasure of a couple of hours driving around in carts, looking for pretty spots… what a great afternoon! The weather was perfect; warm, but not too hot, and a refreshing breeze blowing across the links. We were thrilled with how well this sweet couple took to being on camera… such naturals! Julissa had a particular spot in mind for some portraits, which ended up being really awesome. We love it when our clients see things the way we do!
