Emily had the pleasure of joining Miles and his parents for a session in the park recently. He’s at such a great age– every activity is filled with wonder, and nothing can make him laugh like Mom and Dad! We joined Nichole + Jason for their wedding on 11.11.11 last week… this couple knows how to throw a party! From their beautiful fall theme to the intimate courtyard ceremony their friends and family loved every minute of this happy couple’s wedding.

Amber + Mark (one of our wonderful couples from last year– see their wedding here) joined us for a Day After session to celebrate their one year anniversary. When we were scouting locations recently this place just called out to us as the perfect setting for Amber’s poofy, layered dress… and WOW did they rock this shoot! We love how natural they are together and how very happily married they are. Thank you to two of our favorite people!

Ashley and Mac were married last Saturday during what was predicted to be an incredibly stormy day (as in Tropical Stormy). Astonishingly the rain and wind managed to hold off during the exact moments we needed to be outside, so we all stayed comfortably dry and we were still able to head to the portrait location Ashley and Mac were looking forward to using. (Thanks to whoever is in charge of weather!) We were touched to see how happy, comfortable and excited this couple was during the entirety of their wedding day, and we loved how fun and friendly everyone in the wedding party was. Thank you to Ashley, Mac and all of their family and friends for having us as a part of such a memorable day.

We were so happy when Margot and Jeff decided they wanted a day-after session; we love doing these. It’s so fun to be able to find new and interesting locations for portraits without the time constraints of the wedding day! The happy couple was tired, but they rallied and managed to completely fool us into thinking they somehow were more rested than we were. You’d never know how sleepy they were by looking at the photos… until the last few when they’re sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the river! (We’re pretty sure Jeff actually fell asleep.)
We started at Home Hill Inn (Plainfield, NH– the site of the wedding festivities), then worked our way up to Hanover, New Hampshire for some portraits in and around Dartmouth’s campus. We finished up across the river in Norwich, Vermont, in a quiet park right on the Connecticut River. Fall is just beginning to show up in the Upper Valley area, but the pops of color are really amazing when they do show up!
