Emotional bride at MacArthur Beach State Park Wedding
This lovely bride was fully present throughout her wedding day, and managed to keep her tears at bay until the ceremony, when they suddenly spilled from her sparkling eyes. One of the reasons we love photographing outdoor weddings is the looser restrictions on where we can stand during the ceremony; using a long lens and exposing for the bride's shadowed face allowed Steve to capture this delicate wipe of a tear on her cheek. Extremely sunny beach ceremonies can present a challenge to less experienced photographers, but we know to account for the many changing variables to produce consistently beautiful results. This beach wedding ceremony took place at the remote (yet easy to reach) MacArthur State Park on Singer Island, just north of West Palm Beach. Access to the beach leads you out and over part of the intracoastal waterway, which can be traversed on foot or in groups on a large golf cart the park operates as a shuttle. Wedding ceremonies at this location are best kept small so as not to leave many guests either walking or waiting for the next shuttle, but the intimate and isolated feeling of this location is unique to the North Palm Beach area.Location: MacArthur State Park, North Palm Beach Florida.
