Keeping wedding guests cool with patterned fans

Keeping your guests cool even in the hot days of late May in South Florida can be a challenge! We've found some of our clients think ahead for their guests' comfort, including providing them with fans and ice cold drinks, or ideally having a shady area where they can wait away from the hot Floridian sun. This can be an ideal time to set the tone for the rest of your celebration; rather than having your extended family wait in the hot sun, why not have a pre-ceremony cocktail party, where guests can mingle until a few minutes before the ceremony is set to begin?

May weddings in West Palm Beach can vary from warm to very hot; May is the last month before hurricane season officially begins, and many venues are generally available compared to the cooler months. While beautiful during the winter, outdoor venues like the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens can offer very little in terms of air conditioned spaces for guests, so it's best to plan ahead with shelter, fans, and plenty of cold liquids to keep your friends and family happy. As long as their needs are being met there's no reason why your wedding won't be a successful and memorable event even if it's a little hot; and even during the "cold" months, South Florida often reaches well into the 80's during the day, which doesn't feel cool enough for many people.
